Curriculum based self-defense: Seminars range in length of 30min, 45min, or 60min.
Curriculum based self-defense explores the content locked within your forms while demonstrating content application.
We categorize curriculum based self-defense into 3 categories: P.A.T., G.A.T., and C.A.T.
P.A.T. - Poomse Application Tactics: This style breaks the forms into its sequences and demonstrates application of the sequences in a traditional one step fashion.
G.A.T. - Grab Application Tactics: This style, aka free style self-defense, focuses on grabs, chokes, headlocks, arm bars, etc. Students are taught how to effectively get out of the hold as well as counter attack. The advanced versions of the defenses are related back to the P.A.T. exercises to help student make the link between the form and self-defense application.
C.A.T. - Combat Application Tactics: This style of self-defense combines P.A.T., G.A.T, and sparring.
The student learns how to apply the techniques, skills, and tactics of P.A.T., G.A.T., and sparring in real time.

Group Testing
These Seminars are offered for areas in which there are a group of students training with our virtual classroom and are ready for evaluation.
Another way this program is used is to assist other martial arts schools in need of addition judges for their testing session.
